Clean the metadata before you share

A photo reveals where and when it was taken, on which device, and any title or keyword. One clean removes it all, and the image stays exactly the same, with no recompression. Press “Remove All Metadata” in the window:

Fix the time on many photos at once

Camera clock on the wrong time zone? Pick the files and move their time. Each file keeps its own time, and the gaps between them stay the same. Try a shift, press the button, and watch the list:

Set a prefix, suffix, start number, digits and step, and see how every name will turn out before anything changes. Edit the fields or pick a ready pattern:

The name

Named after Iris, goddess of the rainbow who connected sky and earth — connecting your photos to Apollo, in much the same way.

The figure behind the name

Iris was the messenger of the gods and the personification of the rainbow. A daughter of Thaumas and Electra, she carries the messages of Zeus and Hera in Homer. The rainbow was her road between heaven and earth. Iris gets your photos ready before they reach Apollo.
