For the “On this day” section and the saints’ calendar, the app asks Wikipedia (wikipedia.org and api.wikimedia.org, Wikimedia Foundation) for the page or the events of the day. With the app in Greek the request goes to the Greek Wikipedia; with the app in English it goes to the Wikimedia “On this day” service and to the English Wikipedia (for the saints’ calendar). The request contains the date you are viewing and an app identifier (name, version and the contact address stated here). No contacts or other personal data are sent. As the server, the Wikimedia Foundation sees your IP address and applies its own privacy policy. Name days, public holidays, Easter, the moon phase and zodiac signs are calculated on the device without a network.
For the “Our apps” screen, the app downloads from our website (dimakis.app, hosted on GitHub Pages) the list of our apps with their names, icons and links. It is a plain request that contains nothing about you; as the server, GitHub sees your IP address. The Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use also open from dimakis.app, in a Safari window inside the app.
Because we do not keep personal data about you, there is nothing for us to correct or delete. You can revoke any permission (Contacts, Notifications) in iPhone Settings, or delete the app. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
The app is not aimed at children in particular and does not collect data from anyone.
If this policy changes, this page and the date at the top will be updated.
