The app has no backend. You do not create a Chronos account, you do not give us an email address, and there is no analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDK embedded. We do not track you across apps or websites and we do not use the IDFA.
The following is stored locally and never leaves your device, unless you enable iCloud sync (see section 5):

Every permission can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
If you enable "iCloud Sync", your Countdown and Tracking data, along with your settings, are stored in the private CloudKit database of your own Apple account. That is between you and Apple. We have neither access nor visibility. Apple's Privacy Policy applies.
Optionally, you can connect Google, Microsoft (Outlook, Microsoft 365) or iCloud accounts so you can view and edit their calendars and tasks inside Chronos. If you connect none, nothing in this section applies.

Data in those accounts is also subject to the privacy policies of Google, Microsoft and Apple.
Apart from the accounts in section 6, the app contacts the services below. None of them receives your name, email, device identifier, calendar content, contacts or medication data. The only exception is the link (URL) you write yourself in an event, reminder or task, described in the last row of the table.

Services that require it (MET Norway, Nominatim, Wikipedia) receive an application identifier together with our contact address, as their terms of use require.
One source only, the on-duty system of the 7th Health Region of Crete, is available solely over an unencrypted connection (HTTP). No personal data is sent to it, only a date.
For as long as you want. There is no automatic deletion. You can delete individual records, the whole history of one medication, or everything older than a number of years you choose, from within the app. Uninstalling removes local data. iCloud data is deleted from iOS Settings. Events and tasks in connected accounts remain with Google, Microsoft or Apple, under their own terms.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Since we hold none of your data, these rights are exercised directly on your device, in your iCloud account and in any Google or Microsoft account you have connected. For anything else, write to us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. Since we collect no data at all, no such risk arises.
If anything material changes, the date at the top will be updated and it will be noted in the release notes. This policy is always available inside the app, under Settings.
